The word Biophilia describes our human tendency towards the desire to connect with nature, together with a shared affinity for natural forms. In her inaugural exhibition at Orchard Street Gallery, Maxine Green from the Southern Highlands uses botanical materials to express an emotional release through her direct representation of natural forms. Using a printmaking technique known as ‘monotype’, she shares her connection to our precious natural world.
