September workshop program

Saturday 17th September - Pick up a drawing implement and learn how to SEE!

Orchard Street Gallery is proud to announce multiple workshops this month, including, for the first time, independent educators offering their skills to others through our gallery space. The thread that connects us is Southern Tablelands Arts, who have been so supportive of our little gallery in the west. Thank you STA!

Also, as part of our own monthly workshop program, Jo is on a mission to encourage all those who say “I wish I could draw” by teaching them that… Yes, you CAN draw!

Friday 23rd September - Up-cycled and found objects to create works of art.

Saturday 24th September - Making a habitat-based artwork using plant-based materials such as leaves, grasses, bark, seeds, and feathers along with charcoal and paint on a small canvas

Sunday 25th September - Muruwari woman Monica Bridge in the gallery to run a workshop especially for our local indigenous youth.
